Asignment 1: Canadaplein

We have a lot of public spaces in our city (Alkmaar). The best public space in my neighborhood must be Canadaplein. This is a large square surrounded by a church, library, theather and a bar. It's location is in the center of Alkmaar every body who has been in Alkmaar once can't miss it. I will try to post some pictures within a few days.

I think the theme of this square is “art, knowledge and relaxation”. I came here often when I was young. to play, visit the library or theater. This is a very special square for me and I think that it’s very special for the majority of Alkmaar.
